Boxall for established businesses

Delivery for supermarkets and restaurant groups

You already have the customers, the stock and the name. What you do not have is a delivery operation, and that is the part we have already built and run for six years.

If you already run a supermarket, hypermarket or restaurant group, you do not need to start a delivery business. You need a delivery channel. Boxall gives you the customer app, the rider and order tools, and the operating playbook, built over six years and more than 5,00,000 real orders in Thodupuzha. You launch in your own city, under your own brand or under Boxall's, selling stock you already carry to customers you already have. Setting it up takes weeks. Working out what actually holds up took us three years.

Why this works for an existing business

Someone starting a delivery service from nothing has to buy every customer, sign every shop and fund the whole operation before a single order is profitable. You are not doing any of that. You already have the footfall, the stock, the staff and the name people in your city recognise. Delivery becomes additional margin on inventory you already carry, and it does not have to pay for itself from day one.

Marketplaces and quick commerce are not the same problem

Zomato and Swiggy are marketplaces. They list your shop, bring you customers and take a commission, and the customer relationship stays with them. That is a channel with a price on it, and most restaurants use it. Blinkit, Instamart and Zepto are not that. They buy stock, hold it in their own dark stores and sell it themselves, so a supermarket cannot list on them however much it wants to. They are a competitor on your street selling the same rice and the same onions. FreshToHome works the same way in fish and meat. Against a marketplace you can negotiate. Against quick commerce, having your own customers is the only defence there is.

Two ways to launch

Under your own brand, where we supply the platform and the playbook and your name is the one on the app. That usually fits best when you already have a name people trust in your city. Or under Boxall's brand as a city licence, where you get an established delivery brand and we carry more of the setup. Which one suits you depends on your city and your business, so we work it out together rather than pushing one.

What you get

A customer app on Android, iPhone and the web. Order management, rider assignment and live tracking. Shop and catalogue tools for your own stores. Offer codes and WhatsApp friendly ordering for customers who would rather message than browse. Plus the operating knowledge: delivery zones, rider payouts, pricing and the mistakes we already made so you do not have to.

What you bring

Your city, your stock and your customers. Local knowledge is the hardest part of this business and it cannot be shipped in from outside. You have it already, which is exactly why this works for you and does not work for someone starting cold.

How it starts

From a message to a launch

  1. 1 Message us with your city and what you run today.

  4. 4 You launch, and we stay on the operations with you.

Before you message

Three questions before you message

Answer these and the conversation starts with us already knowing your situation, instead of ten minutes of basics. Nothing is sent anywhere until you press the button.

Across Kerala

Built in Thodupuzha, ready for towns like yours

Boxall grew up in a mid-sized Kerala town, which is exactly why it fits places the national apps skip. If your town has shops, customers and daily needs, it can support its own delivery service.

Questions

Good to know before you message us

We already list on Swiggy and Zomato. Why run our own delivery too?

Most businesses run both. The platforms bring reach and new customers; your own channel keeps the margin and the relationship on the orders that would have come to you anyway. The regulars who order from you every week are the ones worth owning.

Do we need our own riders?

Usually yes, and fewer than people expect. Part of what we bring is sizing that honestly for your city and order volume, along with how to pay them so they stay.

How long does it take to launch?

Weeks rather than months for the platform itself. The longer part is operations: zones, riders and getting your catalogue right. We scope both before you commit to anything.

What does it cost?

It depends on your city, your scale and which of the two routes you take. Message us and we will walk you through real numbers before you commit. We would rather tell you a city cannot carry this than sell you something that fails.

Can our city actually support its own delivery service?

Thodupuzha did, and it is a mid-sized town. Six years, 30,000+ customers and over 5,00,000 orders from one place, without expanding anywhere else. Your city having an existing retail business the size of yours is a better starting point than we had.

Is this a franchise?

Not in the usual sense. Under your own brand it is a platform and operations partnership. Under the Boxall brand it is closer to a city licence. Terms are agreed together in both cases.
