Boxall for business

Run delivery in your own city

Boxall builds and runs a delivery service in Thodupuzha, and licenses the same platform and operating playbook to businesses elsewhere in Kerala. If you already run a supermarket, hypermarket or restaurant group, you can launch delivery in your city as an additional service line, under your own brand or under Boxall's, using the customers and stock you already have. Six years, 30,000+ customers and more than 5,00,000 orders sit behind it, all from one mid-sized town.

Why now

What the delivery apps mean for your business

There are two different things arriving in your city and they need different answers. Marketplaces like Zomato and Swiggy list your shop and take a commission, so they are a channel with a cost. Quick commerce like Blinkit, Instamart and Zepto stock their own dark stores, so a supermarket cannot list on them at all. They are simply a competitor selling the same goods to the same street. A restaurant can work with the first. Against the second, your own channel is the answer.

By town

What your town can support

Each of these was looked at on its own: what the town runs on, what makes it different from the one next to it, and what that shape means for delivery. Boxall does not operate in any of them.

Questions

Common questions

What does Boxall offer other businesses?

The delivery platform and the operating knowledge behind it: a customer app for Android, iPhone and web, order and rider management, and the playbook for zones, payouts and pricing. You can run it under your own brand or under Boxall's.

Who is this for?

Mainly established retail and food businesses in Kerala cities: supermarkets, hypermarkets, pharmacy chains and restaurant groups that already have customers and stock and want their own delivery channel rather than depending on the aggregators.

Why not just list on Swiggy and Zomato?

Most restaurants do both. The marketplaces bring reach, your own channel keeps the margin and the customer relationship on orders that were coming to you anyway. Note that this only applies to marketplaces. Blinkit, Instamart and Zepto hold their own stock in their own dark stores, so a supermarket cannot list on them at all: they are a competitor rather than a channel.

What proof is there that this works?

Boxall has run its own delivery service in Thodupuzha since 2020: more than 30,000 customers, over 5,00,000 orders and 200+ jobs from one mid-sized Kerala town, without expanding elsewhere. The full timeline is in the case study.

Which cities can this work in?

Any Kerala city or town with an established retail base and steady daily demand. We assess it honestly with you first, and we would rather say a city cannot carry this than sell you something that fails.
